CBT Dublin is led by Clare Reed (BA (hons), Dip.CBT, Cert.Soc.Sci, MCBTAH), she is a fully trained, qualified and insured Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and she has worked solidly in this therapy since 2008. She is known as a leading specialist in anxiety and self-esteem disorders in Dublin.
Clare is Irish, but educated in the UK, and has been in Ireland for the past fifteen years. Having spent ten years in Human Resources Management for a variety of companies she retrained in her early thirties to focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She was originally introduced to CBT, as a tool for management development, in her HR career. She chose to qualify in this therapy, over other therapies, because it is focused on the future, proactive, results driven and cost effective for clients due to the short therapy time frame.
Clare has been described by her clients as being fully focused on the client, engaging, caring and empathetic in all her dealings, which she prides herself on. Please see our testimonials page for more client feedback.
Clare's office is now located online using Skype software so you can still see her visually and she has a great accompanying tech system containing all her video's, worksheets and techniques, which has an app so you can access your techniques and tools wherever you are. She was, for six years, until January 2017, located on Harrington St (corner of Upper Camden St, Dublin 2). She is happy to answer any questions you may have about this therapy.
You can use the contact form to email her or book in for a 20 min free pre-therapy call to discuss CBT and your needs, or reach her by phone on:
